The benchmark Sensex and Nifty declined in trade on Thursday
Dragged down by a sharp selloff in IT, auto, metal and oil & gas stocks after the United States imposed a 27 percent reciprocal tariff on India
However, gains in banking, pharmaceutical and broader markets helped limit the downside
Sensex settled 322.08 points or 0.42 percent lower at 76,295.36
NSE Nifty slipped to 23,250.10, down 82.25 points or 0.35 percent
Nifty Midcap 100 and Smallcap 100 indices rising nearly 0.5 percent, shrugging off the broader selloff
On the sectoral front, IT index shed 4 percent, auto index slipped 1 percent
while pharma index added 2 percent, PSU Bank index rose 1.9 percent, power index jumped 1.8 percent
FIIs continued selling on fourth day as they sold equities worth Rs 2806 crore on April 3
DIIs remained net buyers on fifth consecutive day as they purchased equities of Rs 221 crore

Nifty is facing a intraday resistance 23280 and 23330
If stays above 23330 will try to move 23400
On other side, Nifty considering a supports 23210 and 23150
Below 23150 finding a next support around 23070-23000
