The Nifty and Sensex traded mostly flat-to-positive on June 11
However, the benchmark indices gave up gains at the end of the trading session
Sensex and Nifty closing flattish
Sensex was down 33 points at 76,456 Nifty was up 6 points at 23,264
Midcap Index hits record high, crosses earlier level of 53,705.8
All sectoral indices were mixed in todays session
Realty index gaining over 1 percent
The Nifty Auto index also contributed to the gains, rising nearly a percent
The oil and gas index, industrials, and capital goods showed robust gains of up to 2 percent
India VIX fell nearly 10 percent to 14.7, fast receding to the pre-election levels
After two day’s of buying the Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) remained seller on June 11
As they sold Indian equities worth Rs 111 crore
while domestic institutional investors extended their buying as they purchased equities worth Rs 3193 crore
US markets ended mixed on June 11
Dow lost 0.31%, Nasdaq rallied 0.88% and S&P500 gained 0.27%
Nasdaq index close at record highs helped to Apple share
Oracle jumps 9% in extended trading on deals with microsoft, OpenAI and Google
Consumer inflation, Fed’s rate and FOMC decision in focus today
US 10-year yield slips to 4.4% as investors eye fed meet outcome
European markets ended nearly 1% lower
