Midcap index up 0.5 percent and Smallcap indices up 1 percent
Among the sectors, IT index up more than 2 percent
While capital goods, power, pharma down 1 percent each
FIIs sold equities worth Rs 5,684 crore on October 23
while domestic institutional investors bought equities worth Rs 6,040 crore
Wall Street closed lower on Wednesday
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 409.94 points, or 0.96%
S&P 500 lost 53.78 points, or 0.92%
Nasdaq Composite lost 296.47 points, or 1.60%
Tesla surges 12% after the strong earnings report
Amazon, Nvidia and Netflix down around 2%
Gold at $2722/oz
Crude edge higher at $76/bbl
The US dollar was trading flat at 104.3
Benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury yields shed 38 bps at 4.22 percent
Asian markets were trading mixed Thursday after U.S. stocks dropped overnight
Nikkei flat note and Hangseng down 0.5%
GiftNifty indicates a flat opening for the index
Nifty is facing a intraday resistance 24470 and 24500
If stays above 24500 will try to move 24560
On other side, Nifty considering a supports 24400 and 24360
Below 24360 finding a next support 24300
